Backend & APIs

Backend and API development your product can rely on

Services in Nest.js, Node.js, Django and Laravel with clean data models, real authentication and useful logs. The parts nobody sees, done properly.

The backend decides whether the product lasts

Most products fail quietly in the backend: a schema that cannot take the next feature, authentication copied from a tutorial, background jobs that stop and nobody notices. The interface looks fine until the day it does not.

We build backends as systems that will be run for years: explicit data models, migrations, tested business rules, structured logs and health checks. Boring on purpose, so your team can trust it.

Who it's for

A good fit when

  • You need an API for a web app, a mobile app or a partner integration.
  • Your product is becoming multi-tenant, needs billing, roles and permissions, or has to handle real traffic.
  • You have an existing backend that is slow, undocumented or risky to change, and you need it stabilized.

Deliverables

What we deliver

01

REST and GraphQL APIs

Versioned, documented endpoints with validation, pagination and rate limiting, plus an OpenAPI spec your frontend and partners can code against.

02

Data modelling and migrations

PostgreSQL or MySQL schemas designed for the questions your product will ask, with migrations and seed data from day one.

03

Authentication and permissions

Sessions or JWT, OAuth sign-in, roles and per-tenant access, two-factor where it matters, implemented to current best practice.

04

Billing and multi-tenancy

Subscriptions, invoices and usage limits with Stripe or a local gateway, and tenant isolation that holds under load.

05

Background jobs and integrations

Queues, scheduled tasks, webhooks and connections to CRMs, ERPs, payment providers and messaging platforms.

06

Admin panels

An internal panel for your team to manage users, content and orders without asking a developer.

Process

How a backend project runs

Tools we work with
  1. 01

    Domain and data first

We map the entities, the rules between them and the questions the product needs answered, before a single endpoint exists.

  2. 02

    Contract, then build

The API contract is agreed with whoever consumes it, so the frontend, the app and the backend are built in parallel.

  3. 03

    Tests, logs, observability

Business rules get automated tests; every service ships with structured logging, error tracking and health checks.

  4. 04

    Deploy and operate

Docker, CI/CD, staging and production, backups and monitoring, set up with you rather than handed over as a mystery.

FAQ

Questions we hear

It depends on the team that will own it. Nest.js in TypeScript when the frontend is also TypeScript; Django when Python, data work or AI pipelines are central; Laravel when you have PHP developers or a WordPress history. We will recommend one and explain why.

Yes. A mobile app is another API consumer. We add push notifications, device sessions and versioned endpoints so older app builds keep working.

Yes. We start with an audit of security, data integrity, performance and test coverage. You get a written report with priorities before we change anything.

Least-privilege access, parameterized queries, hashed credentials, dependency scanning, secrets kept out of the repository and regular updates. For regulated data we add audit logs and encryption at rest.

Wherever suits you: your own VPS, a cloud provider, or infrastructure inside Iran or the Gulf when data residency requires it. We set up Docker-based deployments that move between them.

Need an API or a backend you can trust?

Describe the product and who will consume the API. We will come back with an architecture note and a timeline.
